DuPont Parks & Recreation will host Summer BINGO Night on Saturday, August 28 at the DuPont Community Center located at 303 Barksdale Avenue. The event begins at 6 p.m. Cost are: $15 for 1 Card; $20 for 2 Cards. Cards cannot be split. Proceeds benefit the DuPont Community Center and Parks and Recreation events and programs. The City of DuPont Parks & Recreation Department and Dance4Life, are now offering over 14 dance classes for all ages. Classes include, but are not limited to: Beginning Ballet, Boys Hip Hop, Tap, Women’s Creative Dance, etc. Classes run September 7 thru May 20 at the DuPont Community Center (303 Barksdale Ave). Ovation Academy of the Arts is pleased to present a performance of Rats!!! on August 13 at DuPont’s Clock Tower Park starting at 6:05 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public. This summer musical is the story of the Pied Piper. Find out what happens when the quiet town of Hamelin is invaded by rats! The play is being directed by Allison Swarner and staff.
